Sustainability
Today, 100% of our materials are plant-based. We have gone further and developed an eco-conscious collection of headbands made from ecological TENCEL™️ Lyocell fabric.
This new plant-based ecological fabric, is made using eucalyptus trees through a revolutionary production system with almost zero waste. It is produced by environmentally responsible processes from sustainably sourced natural raw materials.
Tie Dyed Headbands
The TENCEL™ jersey used for our Tie Dyed Original headbands has a luxuriously soft, silky feel and is naturally temperate regulating, moisture wicking and durable. The unique physical properties of TENCEL™ Lyocell fibres lead to great strength, efficient moisture absorption and gentleness to skin and hair.

This solvent-spinning process recycles processed water and reuses the solvent at a recovery rate of more than 99%. This is a environmentally friendly closed loop production technique.

Our Additional Sustainable Choices
Bamboo Fabric
Our bamboo fibre fabric is made from the pulp of bamboo grass. Bamboo itself is a wonderful crop that is a more sustainable option than other sources of plant-based textiles. Bamboo grows rapidly, needs very little water, fertiliser, or pesticides, and sequesters a large amount of carbon dioxide, making it a healthier choice for the environment.
Fabric Printing
Taking our attention to our ecological impression we make on the planet we choose to digitally print our fabrics to help reduce the impact. Digital printing is a much more friendlier choice in today's textile industry, as it creates less waste. Requiring less equipment, chemicals and water usage.
Our Packaging
All of our packaging is 100% recyclable. BLOM as a business is moving towards eliminating all unnecessary plastic throughout the entire supply chain.
Reducing Carbon Footprint
Our supply chain is engineered to keep production and sourcing local to Bali, Indonesia. Our fabric and haberdashery suppliers are down the road from our factory, minimalising our impact. Shipping our products globally we ensure our packages are kept to the smallest size possible.
